Current pictures of Sir Huxley and Piper
Piper is eight months old now. She is adorable. She is very fiesty, has a mind of her own. She doesn't take any hassles from Sir Huxley! They play and play, but when she is done, she's done and she doesn't leave any doubt about it. She loves the outdoors. Even the snow didn't slow her down. She actually dives off the porch and into the snow. When Kelly brings her in, she looks like a strange shaped snowball. We quickly dry her off and she is ready to go again. She is going to make a great Mom. She has lots of energy, her coat is shiny and healthy. Of course we are still about a year away from puppies, but we are making sure she is healthy.
Here is Sir Huxley. He is ten months old now. He looks very different than Piper. He is a very square little man with a short nose, a handsome face. He is not as adventursome as Piper. He likes to go outside, but not in the snow. He is quick on his feet, loves to run around outside, but he prefers that it is in the sunshine on dry ground. His coat is looking good and he will make a great father.
This is our cat, Maka Nani. She is the cat that showed up at our door when we returned from Maui in 2006. She is just over two years old and way bigger than Sir Huxley. They can tolerate each other and Kelly even caught them kissing in this picture. They don't exactly play together yet, as they definitely have a trust issue. Niether one of them is sure the other's intentions are good. I suspect they will become pals in the future.
Have a good Super Bowl Sunday!

Three inquiries for Puppies
We wish we had puppies ready for sale. We have about two to five inquiries a week for puppies. The Affenpinscher is a popular breed and it is hard to find quality puppies.
Piper and Huxley, our Mom and Dad, went to the vet today for a checkup. They are doing great. We want them to be really healthy and strong when it comes time for them to make puppies so we have really healthy puppies. They are losing their baby teeth.

Introducing KJ's Munky Paws

This is Kelly of KJ's Munky Paws. He loves animals and animals love Kelly. They know he can take care of them and is a pushover if they want attention. When we discussed what we would like to do when we grow up, Kelly said he would love to pick a breed and breed top quality dogs that are healthy, happy and improve the breed. So after researching different breeds, he decided on the Affenpinscher. Affenpinscher's are also called "Monkey Dogs". They have monkey like faces and show so much expression in their little faces. There are no breeders in the Northwest, so we are the home of the "Monkey Dog" in the Northwest.
